  Excellent location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room and facilities. We appreciated iron and desk in our room, so as heated floor in the bathroom. We had superior room: spacious, with 2 windows looking to the Moika river. Very calm. Hot and cold water with tea@coffee on every floor. Everything is close- the Hermitage, Nevsky prospect, the Dome etc. Staff is very friendly, extremely helpful and polite. I'd like to commend Vasili,- an exceptionally professional receptionist. The hotel is full of character, decorated with taste which becomes the old building in the grand part of St. Petersburg. Very clean, has around the clock self-service stand of coffee and tea in the lobby, good internet connection.

It was more spacious than we expected and the representative that met us was more than accommodating-he met us at a local point to take us to the flat earlier than expected.   The hotel'a location was perfect in the middle of all the things to see like Hermitage, Russian museum, Nevskij prospect. Breakfast was great, there was everything you could wish - The hotel is situated very centrally at a walking distance from sights and metro stops. The interior is beautiful, the paintings in passages and rooms a nice touch. My single room was smallish but not at all claustrophobic. The bed was really comfortable with luxurious bedclothes. The bathroom was spacious, of gleaming marble and like the room and all the spaces I saw, really clean and fresh. The toiletries were of good quality, too.
