  Very professional and helpful staff who responded quickly and positively to my email enquiries before we left England. On arrival we were offered a free upgrade from a de-luxe double room to a suite; we were amazed and delighted to accept! The breakfast buffet was comprehensive with fresh, tasty fare on offer every day. The impressive Royal Ar - I liked the location which was just below the Castle at the edge of teh old town. We had the Wavel tram stop just next to us whihc ran both into town , around it and into Kazimierz as well as furhter afield such as the Bohotara Ghetto. The large rooms were great, especially int eh heat. The mattresses and pillows were very comfortable and we had clean sheets daily. The building is lovely. Had we required it, there was also the very good value Pod Wavelem restaurant on site. The reception staff

  The staff of the Hotel Alef was fantastic. They were all (and that is rare) incredible friendly and helpful and were willing to organize everything in a blink of an eye. They answered my e-mails sent before the trip promptly.The room was very basic, but perfectly clean and the bathroom was renovated. Location was perfect, right beside the castl - The hotel Alef was extremely clean and had charm and character, with great paintings and ornaments throughout. I loved the power shower and had no complaints with the breakfast buffet~ simple but effective. The hotel is in a perfect location for walking into Krakow centre. The staff were nice and helpful and my group of friends and I would certainly stop again :)

  The hotel was beautiful, the rooms spotless and so tastefully decorated. We were very lucky to be given an upgrade to the nicest suite, I'd mentioned is was my husbands birthday the day we arrived and they left a box of delicious polish chocs as a gift for him.   Friendly and useful staff, clean rooms, excellent breakfast. Good position to visit by foot all important historycal sites of Krakow. My appartement was in Szpitalna street (they have the apartements in different houses in the old town), 1 min. walk from Main Square.
