  Great hotel. The price was very good, especially for the location (Miraflores - close to all shopping, restaurants, and the beach). The rooms were excellent, very clean, minibars, and the showers had hot water...with very good water pressure. Which, can be hit or miss, depending on the hotel. I'll certainly book this one again. - Due to the location of the hotel, we were close to all amenities and attractions. The hotel staff were exdtremely helpful and friendly especially at the front desk. The food served in the restaurant was really good and quite big portions which was unexpected. My friend had the Llomo saltado and I had something which resembled a seafood paella. Both were equally good.

  Me and my Friend stayed in Faraona in the end of our trip in Peru - as a moment of luxury in the end ;) Hotel itself is nice and tidy but huuuuge thanks to the Staff who helped us when my Friend was sick. Really high speed WIFI,very good breakfast with many different dishes every day, professional staff, clean ,quiet and good smell room with anything I want.Room service without extra cost on the receipt.It' the A+ hotel with cost only surounding US$90 in Miraflores.

  I was moved to Suites del Bosque accross the street. Still good location, reasonable in price, friendly staff, spacious rooms (junior suite), but a little renovation could help. I wonder if the one I actually booked was better. I would recommended it, though. - Good breakfasts. Helpful staff. Clean, large and comfortable rooms.

  The hotel was very clean and very well decorated. The bed in the matrimonial suite was huge and very comfortable. I think the mattress was a memory foam. There was lots of closet space and the room was spotlessly clean. The light was a bit dark with only desk lamps, but our room was on the top (4th) floor. The bathroom was also very large and spot... vad folk säger » lessly clean. The shower was huge as well. Soap and towels were provided. The room was very safe and secure. Breakfast the next day was delicious and - Lovely big clean room, very friendly staff, great location only 30 mins walk from Miraflores centre / Kennedy Park (or 5 mins in a taxi for 5-10 soles, take the address with you). Safe area for walking around. Also several excellent restaurants on La Mar avenue very near. The best cerviche places are only open in the day (when the fish is freshest), but others also open in the evening. Plenty of hot water during our stay, good wifi connection.

  The location is perfect for the historical old part of the city, we visited for 2 nights and wanted to see this area so that was great, many sights within walking distance -although it is a taxi ride away from the seafront area where most restaurants are. We splurged with a suite with balcony. Food is excellent.Lots of hot water/bathrooms very clean.Bed was comfortable but would have liked a larger one. Slept well as noise level was low on our side of hotel. Since we could not stay for breakfast, we were given a carry away bag. Thought that was very nice. Look forward to returning to Lima and will definitely stay at Gran Hotel Bolivar again.

  My stay was for 3 nights as a layover after a cruise and I visited Huaca Pucllana and the Indian handicraft market (both close by via taxi the hotel arranged). The area in San Isidro is safe and clean and closer to the airport than Miraflores. Staff were very accommodating and arranged airport transfers and local taxis. Room service was prompt and food was good in both restaurant ar - Location is one of the most affluent and quiet in Lima. Breakfast is nice and copious, rooms are very big, modern and renovated. Overall it's a truly great option in Lima, as even most famous expensive hotels in Lima are quite old and rundown.

  The location was superb in Miraflores, very safe and tourist friendly. The staff were more than happy to assist with any inquiries and booking tours. - The staff were all wonderful, especially Roberto. Being a smoker it is so nice not having to stand in the street.

  Good location just a few blocks from Parque Kennedy & ATMs. 24hour reception. Apart 204 was really quiet. Staff were always very friendly and helpful. All staff that I encountered spoke some English. When I explained a problem that I had with LAN airlines they phoned the airline on my behalf. The hotel staff were courteous, efficient, professional, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was superb with plenty of space, great facilities and always kept immaculately clean. We loved having the separate living area with sofa and table and we even had a little terrace with table and chairs outside our room too. We didn't cook in the end but if you were on a budget everything was there to make it easy - we enjoye
