  WE loved the reception we received from Thomas - he was sincerely helpful, cheerful and friendly. We asked for an extra heater and he brought it over almost immediately. He offered information and helpful suggestions eg when we asked about fishing and was available at all times. Excellent value for money, friendly and helpful staff but what makes it unique is LOCATION. Facilities are also good, free parking, wifi works well, coin laundry. You can rent motor boats or kayaks to explore the breathtaking fjord. Highly recommended !

  All the staff are friendly and helpful. Although the hostel at the hill, a little bit far from the harbour and town center, we arrived by bus, there is a bus stop just opposite of it, only two minutes walking, and when we left by ferry, the staff drove us to the harbour, and there is a trail walking to harbour only less than ten monutes.   Our room was clean and comfortable. The school were the hostel is situated is in a very nice area and has fantastic view of the fjord. Very representative selection in the morning buffet also! - Friendly staff, quiet location, plenty of parking

  Staff are very helpful and freindly and arrangements on arrival etc and departure very easy with keys left out if arriving late. Good choose of food at breakfast. Free wifi - Excelent staff, good breakfast. - very friendly staff.nice rooms.

  After 10 days of Oslo, Bergen, Alesund and the fjords, what a pleasure to find this lovely place. Direct return to nature at its best. Very large room, three windows, no curtains ( wake up early or bring a mask ). Simple breakfast, no dinner unless ordered in advance. The style Is super simple, raw. No TV or minibar of course, but mother nature an... vad folk säger » d an excellent wifi. The perfect occasion to do something else. They also have cabins. Just nice ! - The owner & staff are wonderful and very interesting. Great conversation with them & with other guests. The setting is spectacular, in a quiet way. Because it is small and a little hard to find, you won't find roaming busloads of tourists. The facilities are simple, not luxurious - but very comfortable and perfect for the environment.

  It was a funny little motel with six rooms next to a larger hotel. Very clean and a nice hardwood floor. It was a two-tunnel drive to town but a nice, reasonably-priced place to stay. - for our budget travel to Norway it was the perfect location to explore that Alesund area.
