Travelled with two older kids the space and additional beds are adequate. Location provides views of of the Fjords and next to a small river. Best if you drove as public transport are limited. Breakfast is generous for Norwegian standard and served in house restaurant which also serve Thai food. Value considering Norwegian prices is good.

  The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. - It is close to the Airport, but a taxi ride is still 200kr. The staff were very helpful and after a false start into an unsuitable room, we were efficiently moved into a much more suitable room.

  Now this, for Norway was value for money. Staff were very friendly, nice atmosphere in the cafe/restaurant, best pizza I've ever had. Couldn't believe the room and the view from the full wall of window, 20 foot high. Everything really good, highly recommended. - The view of the lake and the mountains surrounding the town of Roldal was beautiful! ... vad folk säger » We liked that we could get a suite for the three of us so we had two bedrooms and could cook instead of eating out. There is a nice grocery store in town.

  For Norway, a reasonable price. We did not mind cleaning for ourselves at the end of our stay. Clean, modern, comfortable for a family. We enjoyed being able to cook our own meals. Most likely you need a car. It was summer, so we used this as a homebase. Some daytrips we enjoyed: Gudvangan and ferry to/from Flam. We also drove to Jo - Very good equipment in the room, friendly stuff, reception works 24/7. Great location - in a hour you can reach 1) Gudvangen to the East (great Naroyfjord nearby, and also stunning view from the serpantine road above the tonnel to Gudvangen), 2) great Hardangerfjord to the South 3) Sognefjord to the North (and near the road to Sognefjord you can walk over snow fields even in August!). There are three flyss buss stops very close - only 40€ to get to downtown Bergen (fish market, the mountain tram, train station) The breakfast was delicious, the room very comfortable - I found the price one of the best in Bergen ...
