  I found the hotel to be well presented despite reading reviews of the rooms being dated. I also had a room at the rear of the hotel overlooking the park which was exceptionally quiet despite reading reviews about noise. Helpful and pleasant staff. We had an internal room & although there was no natural light, it was silent so we slept brilliantly. It was a good size and had everything you would expect. The location is great: very central and it is easy to walk to all the attractions of the city.

  There it was! The iconic Bryggen in full view from our hotel room window. The Scandic Strand could not have been better sited. Below us was the famous Fish Market and the Vagen Waterway, with only a short walk to the Floyen Mountain funicular. The only downside was late night music from a waterfront bar which kept us awake o - Room was very large and very comfortable for a family of four. The staff was accommodating, breakfast was good and the hotel was clean and comfortable. We had taken it as a stopover before our trip of the Fjords, the hotel was a great place to spend the night specially since we traveled from Oslo and reached late, there were enough places to grab a bite even at 11 in the night.

  Very contemporary hotel with luxurious lobby. Room was very large, and included a trouser press, coffee machine and small fridge. The bathroom had heated tiles. Close to everything walkable scenic. friendly and helpful staff. plenty of varieties for brakfast. very clean . walkable from Bergen railway Station. Bus and from Airport at the hotel door very reasonable rate roughly 12 dollars per person. Buses run every 15 minutes.

  We had room number 6oo. We enjoyed very much this room, because it was big and comfortable. Your hotel is really cosy, best situated. We also enjoyed coffee and tea at any time.
