Friendliness and efficiency of staff. The space of the cottage. The location. The city itself, so interesting, full of atmosphere and scenery. The walk up the steepest road in the world!!. Dunedin and the Tourist Court cottages are definitely somewhere we would like to return to again.

  On a two way street so easy to get in and out of, good parking. Close to the city centre, close to main road in and out of town, close to the gardens, museums etc. A good motel to stay a week in as they have good cooking facilities. Friendly staff.   This was the cleanest Motel I had ever been in. I was thoroughly impressed with the layout of the unit, the space allotted, the facilities. The price was incredibly good value for what you were getting. Staff were friendly and approachable. Close to bus stops. - omg. for what it's worth, this place is value for money and close to the tourist spots. e.g. Sandfly bay to see the penguins/seals, the castle and CBD of Dunedin. The staff were so helpful and we were grateful and excited to see the penguins on the recommended bay that cost nothing. Definately a place to come back to. The cadbury factory was worth it too.

  The owners Gavin and Wendy were very friendly and available for any assistance. The price was very reasonable for the apartment which was large, roomy and had all the luxuries of home; gas stove, fridge, full set of cooking utensils, tv and spacious bedrooms. If you want to be near the beach and hear the calming surf, this is the place to be. The TV channels are best I've seen in NZ, paying a little extra for a sea view room is a must, and the free WiFi is definitely a bonus. Dunedin is quite a boring town, but the very remote beach at Sandfly Bay, 20 mins by car was well worth the visit. The views from the front of this hotel are magnificent.

  The room was lovely, we could see the sea from our balcony. Something a lot of hotel rooms don't have is decent light to read by, this room had good lighting over the couch area, and good bedside lamps. There were plenty of options for our evening meal, we chose to walk around the block to a local restaurant rather than dine in. Loved walking along the beach and the access to the warm saltwater pool. Had a mini kitchen in our room so one visit to the Supermarket let us eat breakfast and lunch on our balcony.

  The Albatross was easy to find, just a short drive to the shops and restaurants.The house is old , and showing its age , but full of character. The bedroom and ensuite we used was small, but adequate for a one night stop. Overall lovely stay for the rugby league. Go the Mighty Warriors. Great internet access and a cosy place to have breakfast with fellow customers.

  Please look no further than this place ! The 1-bedroom apartment was very spacious, very clean. There was even a dishwasher ! Every conceivable amenity has been provided.
