  The hotel had a 'local' feel that I would not have felt if I had stayed in the Radisson. All the staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Despite being in a busy, noisy, dusty city, the hotel was a very calm, relaxing and quiet place. - Friendly feel to the hotel. Lots of traveller's and trekkers there. Very quiet.   I stayed in Hotel Nepalaya for 3 nights before joining tour at Thamel eco resort. My stay at Nepalaya was wonderful! From the moment I walked in to the reception area I found the staff very friendly and with a good sense of humour!(Milan- the manager I'm talking) I was taken to my room(204) and shown around. The young man(Ramesh Dulal) came and intro - Staff are very helpful and knowledgable. They were so friendly that after the first day, I could remember most of them by first name. They sent a taxi at the airport to pick me up even though I forgot to tell them my exact arrival time. Later I found out that theytook the trouble of analyzing where I m comming from and identifying the flight!!! I was completely amazed!!! The manager (Milan) was always there with helpful recomendations on bars, shopping etc. The guy at the reception desk named U
