  I really don't know where to begin with the all the compliments this resort deserves. From our arrival to our departure, my husband and I were overwhelmed with the staffs hospitality, we were made to feel very special and part of the Rasas family. The staff knows how to provide service and makes you feel at home. We stayed at the Rasa wing. At the pool side staff provides fresh fruits an cold towels twice a day. All soft drink are free of charge and at the lobby lounge free tea, sandwiches and cake are served between 3 and 4. Between 6 and 7 freewine, cocktails and snacks are served. If you want a quiet breakfast it will be served to you, but in their "cofee" shop there is a buffet breakfast second

  The hotel was fantastic, staff exceptional and facilities beautiful. A great spot in the city of Georgetown and lots of different options at the one hotel for room types from conventional rooms to 2 bed apartments.   We stayed two nights in September 2013 at the Traders Hotel in Penang. The hotel is part of the Shangri-la group and used to be called the Shangri-la Inn. It’s not a brand new property but from what we could tell it is still in a very well-maintained condition.
