  My husband and I spent 5 days at the Datai. I've stayed in many hotels over the years but I can honestly say, that I enjoyed my stay at the Datai more than any other hotel I've ever stayed in. I felt a sense of peace being close to nature and the sea. All the staff were wonderful and couldnt do enough to make our stay comfortable. At full moon the staff spent all day setting up tables and chairs on the beach and in the eve - beautiful and spacious rooms with great service, food was pricy but then again it is a 5 star so u got to pay the price i guess. we felt pampered , loved our stay.. hats off to the management and staff ...

  The most important thing I have noticed aside from the beautiful nature, is the friendly staff. From the moment we reach the airport and a young smiley man called Azmil as far as I remember who gave us a gray information about what to Do, and once we reached the resort we have been met by another very smiley and friendly Angung who took us to make... vad folk säger » the check in from the jetty to the reception , and found a great room facing the sea and a room with well prepared cake for our anniversary . And I c - It was a great experiance at the TAJ - Rebak Island resort from the time of check -in to our check-out- every thing was taken care so well, the staff at TAJ is amazing and so Hospitable, especially their Guest service Relations Executive MS. Pantea Rodd who took care of me and my family requets.. would highly recommend this property and would love to come back and stay @ TAJ Rebak Island Resort !!!

  We liked everything! This is an amazing place to stay, and thoroughly relaxing. Each 'room' is a little house on stilts with its own balcony. Each one is unique. We liked having the very friendly cats around, Scrabble to play and a pool to swim in. Breakfast in your fridge makes for an extra relaxing stay (no schedule to stick to). If we ever - -My daughter cried when we left! We loved this visit to Langkawi. the Bon Ton was absolutely gorgeous with every attention to detail. I loved the room with the outside bath, my daughter loved the cats and helped out in the mornings at the animal sanctuary near by. The view over the water hole was particularly beautiful at sunset, and in the morning there were monitor lizards and kingfishers. The free cocktails and snacks were a lovely touch and the staff were most happy to accomodate my request

  The location. If you stayed in the rooms which is facing the sea, oh my its such a wonderful place with a great view of the sea, the yachts and also the nearby islands. Do request for rooms facing the sea if you plan to stay there. Location wise, it's also well placed. The hotel housekeeping staff were honest and kept our items for later collection. The water pressure is good.   It was the best hotel and resort i stayed in during my visit to malaysia, truly a luxurious experience, starting from check in to check out, they were very friendly and helpful, the resort was modernly designed , amazing sea view from our balcony , such a relaxing place, the view from the pool was breath taking, the breakfast in the morning was ... vad folk säger » royal ! enjoyed every moment of my stay, i would definitely recommend it for any1 who want the full luxurious experience! - The buffet breakfast is one of the best in comparison to many 5 star hotels that I have stayed at. Very fresh, excellent variety, really amazing all around. The bed is extremely comfortable, the swimming pool is absolutely beautiful. There were a couple of minor instances that I had to raise my concern about, however the Guest Relations Manager (Jana Zahranova) was very courteous, professional and helpful. I can only highly recommend the Westin Langkawi.

  Green, well maintained territory. My small separate house called 'villa' was 10 mt from the sea. Good room cleaning. Travel agency on site, helping to arrange tours. Aircon and fan in room working well. Shower in the small garden is awesome! Quality of the food in the restaurant is good. Security is quite well organized. Lifeguar - Absolutely fabulous! Perfect beach location for relaxing family holiday, plenty restaurants and shops within walking distance. Friendly service without being intrusive, the staff always happy and smiling. Food outstanding at the restaurant and pool side, breakfast good with plenty choice and good coffee. The resort and rooms are clean and well maintained, security courteous and professional. Well done Frangipani for brilliant team effort to provide us with a perfect family holiday!

  Very clean and elegant rooms (for the price), super friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is very good.Location is just good. Very trustworthy house-keeping (I lost a key of a rented scooter and one of the house keeping maids kept it with her for a safe keeping until I reported to the reception, and the bell boy was looking with me, then the house... vad folk säger » - keeping maid told him: she found it and it's with her) I rewarded her with some cash for her honesty. - The hotel staffs were very accommodating with our requests. Conveniently located close to the Kuah Jetty. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. I accidentally left my external hard disk in the hotel and the staff/housekeeping were very responsive when I called and explained my dilemma. They managed to locate the device and have it shipped back to me almost immediately.
