  Kimchee hostel was located not far from Hongdae's busy area. First time I went there I asked the tourist information around Hongdae about the location of the hostel and the staff was giving me the address to be shown to a taxi driver. But when we took taxi, it's not too far! the taxi fare gone high because traffic are everywhere in Hongdae (on wee... vad folk säger » kend) so after I took a walk around Hongdae, I can definitely walk and the direction is so easy. It was a nice experience since this is my first time - This is my second stay with Kimchee, and they're now my go-to place when I'm around Hongdae. The staff members are super friendly, they provide towels for free (whereas some hostels make you pay), and there's a little kitchen area that guests are free to use. Add to this the free wifi available in the whole hostel and there's not much to complain about.

  Excellenthelp received from the various receptionists, in particular Connie. Without her the trip would not have been the same. The location of the hotel is just the best.   The host Sanghee Kim is very warm and kind. Great hospitality and she waited and greeted us when we arrived instead of sending someone else. She even gave us a free ride to Lotte World and lend us her scarf due to cold weather. She will attend to our needs or calls at anytime. But have to climb hilly road for 100 metres but it is not material as there are lots of hilly road and climbing long stairs in Seoul. Have - Owner of the property is a really gentlemen. He waited for us all the day & when we reached near property he came to receive us on main ittewon road. Gave us his cell phone with sim for local calls. Apartment was nice equipped with all amenities. We were in home away from home.
