  Kimchee hostel was located not far from Hongdae's busy area. First time I went there I asked the tourist information around Hongdae about the location of the hostel and the staff was giving me the address to be shown to a taxi driver. But when we took taxi, it's not too far! the taxi fare gone high because traffic are everywhere in Hongdae (on wee... vad folk säger » kend) so after I took a walk around Hongdae, I can definitely walk and the direction is so easy. It was a nice experience since this is my first time - This is my second stay with Kimchee, and they're now my go-to place when I'm around Hongdae. The staff members are super friendly, they provide towels for free (whereas some hostels make you pay), and there's a little kitchen area that guests are free to use. Add to this the free wifi available in the whole hostel and there's not much to complain about.

  Excellenthelp received from the various receptionists, in particular Connie. Without her the trip would not have been the same. The location of the hotel is just the best. We stayed there last year and the kids wanted to go back again they enjoyed the wii and the communal area to relax in. They also liked making their own breakfast. Good location for shopping and easy to get to from the airport as well as getting round the city by the subway.

  The location is really nice, in a cool neighborhood close to the main attractions of the city but not too crowded or turistic. The manager speaks great English and is really keen on giving good advices. He was really kind and helpful. The room was OK, we spent 2 weeks there and everything went fine ! Breakfast including in the rent and it is very worth considering since it is good enough.   Lee is very kind and helpful! And I like the atmosphere there, where everyone coming from different parts of the world has their own stories and we can share them together at breakfast time.   The service is beyond compare. Nancy, the manager made us feel at home and even gave a small token for our little boy. We were allowed to check in very early in the morning and were offered breakfast immediately. Th - NANCY and staff is very very helpful. They went all the way to help us arrange our trip to ski resort. Speaks very well mandarin and English. Location is very convenient, just 5 minutes walk to myungdong. Simple breakfast but good enough. Too bad we had to cut short our trip due to situation back home. Will definitely stay again.
