  Having stayed at the Family Inn Saiko for almost a week I have to say that the whole experience has been a truly pleasant one! In fact, I would go even so far as saying that it was one of the most pleasant experiences in a few years worth of travelling. The security couldn't be any better with regards to the doors to the individual rooms as well as with regards to t - I loved how friendly and helpful the hotel staff was and how willing they were to assist me in my travels as well as answer my questions and concerns. The room was VERY clean and comfortable and it was a great Japanese cultural experience. It was conveniently located close to 3 subway stops, including the Ikebukuro station. I definitely enjoyed my stay here and if I am ever in Tokyo again, I will be staying here again! I have already recommended the Family Inn Saiko to friends!

  Perfect location for Disneyland. You can book bus from the hotel and it takes 30 mins. Also transport link is within walking distance if you wanna go to central Tokyo although it takes a while. There are Aqua City and Decks nearby so shopping is not a problem and plenty of restaurants if you don't wanna travel too far out. View from the restaurant at the 30th flr is amazing - we even saw Mt. Fuji! Also, it is accessible to shopping malls (free shuttle bus) and the Daiba station is connected to it.

  These were my 2nd and 3rd stays at this small and cosy hotel. I like everything about it. When we asked for a recommendation of a good sushi restaurant, the concierge actually ran out to a place, got us a table, and then walked us there! Impressive. The place is lovely--much nicer than even the photos could illustrate-- and in a great location, near trains, shops, and great restaurants.   This is a Lovely ryokan style hotel in Asakusa. Our room was spacious and elegant, with a lovley (green) tea set and Cold water supplied (I cheated by making black tea...).
