  Everything! This is my first (and only) stay in "riokan", so I can not compare it with other "riokans", but I really enjoyed "riokan experience" in Annex Katsutaro. Very, very, very friendly and helpful staff!!! Very convenient, useful and cute map of surrounding area is provided for all guests. Very comfortable "floor-bed". :-) All neces - Lovely, clean small hotel, with large, bright rooms by Japanese standard. The staff is very helpful and they speak good English. The Nippori station is on the main "circle" line which takes you to Tokyo, Shibuya, Shinjuku, and other places of interest without the need to change the trains.   We had a perfectly adequate western room with the usual/necessary functions, but be warned - it was a typical Japanese size, i.e. small and cramped. You couldn't fit in more than 2 normal sized suitcases and even that would be pushing it (we had 1 and a couple of smaller hand baggage bags). But the bed (queen size double) was VERY comfortable - the best in our 4 week stay in Japan. Also it was very conven - I really liked the location - it's very close to the park and the subway station. Particularly coming from Narita, the access is quite convenient and they have very good instructions on how to find the hotel. I'd say the rooms were a good value. Yes, they are small - but that's pretty standard for Tokyo or any large city. They were clean and comfortable, and had travel necessities like hair dryers, shampoo, etc. Also the laundry on the 6th floor was useful. Staff is excellent. I needed to send
