  Don't worry about the location, The owner will drive you to Takayama Station. The location near the river is terrific. Grilled Hida beef at food stall (400yen per stick) by the river at the morning market is excellent. - The Spa was the standout! But Iguchi-san was wonderful and the acommodations terrific!

  The air conditioning worked great. The included breakfast had items not to my taste, but enough things to get you started for the day. The front desk people are efficient. Short walk to train & bus stations. Takayama has good bus connections to the Shirakawa-go area. - Breakfast; while not a broad selection, was very good.
