  The hostel is full of information. You can find information about sounkyo easily. The location is not too far from bus stop but we arrive there at night time so it is a bit difficult to find. Luckily there is a taxi offer us a lift for free. The hostel is like typical Japanese style hostel: wooded made, shared bath room but I can't find basin for ... vad folk säger » washing face. The beds are clean and comfy. We stayed in 4-p dorm room. There are bikes and i think for free (I don't see rent cost) you can borrow hi - a small hostel which is located conveniently for access to the mountains. good food and access to a wonderful onsen in the hotel next door.

  The very charming and welcoming owners, who were very kind to me, offering me hot tea and fresh fruits every evening for my coming back 'home'. This ryokan is definitely a good place to sleep, very calm and clean.   The man I met (probably the owner) was very courteous and helpful and was able to attend to all of my questions. Everything seemed clean and in working order. - Nice little Guesthouse very close to the railstation. Big japanese room for a fair price!
