Price is reasonable for the service and facilities. Rooms are clean and fully equipped. Staff served tea to us every day when we came back to the ryokan. They have a free cultural night event every night run by volunteer staff. They are so friendly and it was really nice learning about their lives in Kyoto, as well as pick up some origami/calligraphy writing. Highly recommended!

  This was a beautiful traditional ryokan that I would recommend to anyone who wants to stay in traditional accommodation. The room was clean and elegant with traditional japanese furniture and a small balcony with wicker western style chairs.
