The hotel was extremely comfortable and the service was superb. Its
location was a little far from tourist areas, however it is conveniently
located near a subway station and the hotel shuttle helps you get to the
train station. The staff helps you in giving directions. -
Check in/out with storage service at Kyoto train station is a really convenient one. The rooms are surprisingly big and cozy with superb city view. Location is excellent to access the Nanjio temple and other famous spot. Dining and caual walking in this area are superb.

The location was great. In front of Kyoto station. There is a shopping mall at the next block (AEON), where there are many stores, and also Daiso (100-yen shop). The Toji temple was near from this hotel, as well as Kyoto Aquarium. To get to most temples, travelers have to take bus lines, that are just across Kyoto station. Staff friendly. Its a very comfortable, accommodating hotel. Bedroom, US living room, Japnese living room. Nice breakfast. Lovely staff. Good location as its near transportation, temples, shops, restaurants. It seems overcrowded at night but the rooms are quiet. -

1) Breakfast - European buffet was to die for!! they cook ham in front of your eyes, excellent choice of fruit, muesli, sausages, fish.
2) Spacious room.
3) Staff speaks good English and very helpful, allowed us to leave our luggage for free for 3 days even when we left for Tokyo and then didn't come back to Hyatt again.
4) Locality is really convenient for both sightseeing (next to Kyoto Museum and various temples) and logistics point (5 min from train/shinkansen station)

The hotel was excellent value for money and the buffet breakfast was extensive and delicious.
The rooms were well appointed and comfortable, with more space than expected.
The staff spoke good English and were very helpful.
The hotel also runs a frequent shuttle bus too and from the JR Kyoto train station which is very convenient. -

The hotel shuttle bus is great for getting to the station, from where you can get transport around the whole city.

have spa on top floor which is a bonus for after shopping, although its a bit small but it still good. A lot of people were saying about no wifi in the room but if you ask the staff at reception they will give you a modem for your room to use, free of charge! this was another bonus since i thought they only have wifi in the lobby. -
