  We had a 1 month trip around Japan :- Tokyo(Asakusa), Tokyo(Yokahama), a cruise, Kyoto, hiroshima, Osaka & back via Helsinki. Throughout Japan we were impressed by the politeness, friendliness & cleanliness & we are sure all hotels at all levels meet the same standards. Metro stations next to the hotel & easy access to th - We spent one night at this hotel. Great location - close to the A-bomb dome and Peace Park, Hiroshima Castle and shops. Staff were so friendly and efficient. I asked for a room high up with a view of the castle (and got it). Corner room with 270 degree views. It was magic and the room was spacious compared to anything else we had stayed at in Japan. We didn't eat at the hotel - but found places close by for dinner and breakfast.

  Good location, just a few mins walk from the JR main station; very nice and helpful staff, cosy common room with books, games etc., plenty of information available about what to do in Hiroshima and around, transport options etc. - Hostel with enourmously friendly stuff that speaks verry good english.   The Grand Prince Hiroshima is definitely a mixed bag. The rooms offer breathtaking views, the onsen is very chilled out and nice, and there's a ferry directly to Miyajima (one of the very best days we spent in Japan was on that lovely island). Direct access to Miyajima Island by boat (though more expensive than train and ferry option from downtown). 3.   The hotel is located in great area,only 5-7 minutes walking to the peace dome garden and about 3 stops on the streetcar from the center of hiroshima. There were enough stores and restaurants in the area. The hotel provides a kitchen with microwave,fridge,hot water and dishes. The staff was kind and spoke enough english.   The staff were very accommodating when we needed to store our bags before and after we checked in/out. The views from our rooms were staggering for the price. The location was excellent. A very short walk to the Peace Park, museum and attractions such as the castle and art gallery. The staff was unable to fix it, but we got a key of another room where we could use the internet connection.

  Wonderful staff! The Japanese breakfast was excellent! We would stay again. The only thing we didn't like was the smell of cigarette smoke from others who have stayed. This was a very simple and pleasant place to stay. The location was perfect for our family to stay.
