  If I could give La Torre 6 stars for staff & location, I would! Signora Lucia made sure she drew us up a complete tour tailor-made to our available time in Verona, along with excellent recommendations for gelato, dinner, etc. She is an absolute gem. And the location - halfway between the Arena & Juliette's house - could not be beat - SO c... vad folk säger » entral, yet so quiet! Nice breakfast (including lovely pastries from nearby bakery), good-sized room, very clean, only 1 flight up (but lift available - Everything about the B&B was perfect. In the heart of the old city, the B&B is ideally situated just off the main shopping street and only a few minutes walk from the arena, Piazza Erbe, Romeo and Juliet's houses. The B&B rooms cannot be faulted. They are furnished to the highest standard and with great style. They are well equipped down to the tiniest detail! Breakfast was outstanding and nothing was too much for the adorable Signora Lucia. A truly amazing stay. We will return!

  The set-up is a bit weird, there is no actual hotel lobby. Instead you are given keys by the staff of the Ippoppotamo restaurant. But, then you are led to the back of the hotel and to your own private room and wow! The hotel isn't cheap but it surely is worth every cent! From the friendly staff, the amazing ala carte breakfast (it's like buffet a... vad folk säger » ctually, where you can eat as much as you want, except that the food is served by the waitresses, amazing pizza omelette and chocolate muffins), the b - - Location is right in the centre of the city (Piazza Bra). But it`s not really close to railway station, if you have a luggage it`s better to take a taxi (7,5 eur). - The room was big, clean, quiet and very stylish as well. - The staff was friendly.   Absolutely the most romantic hotel we've stayed in! The rooms are so decadent! Service is impeccable! Breakfast in bed is such a nice touch! Juliets courtyard is closed to the public at 7.30pm and our hotel had exclusive use! It's extra special because my fiancé just proposed to me there!! :) - everything was perfect.   Huge room with lots space and storage. Great for a family. Complete with kitchen. Limited underground parking for smaller car, luckly we had a Mito rental car so no prob. Great location right next to the old castel Vecchio and roman door, and blocks away from city centro. If you are looking for 4 star hotel, this is not what you are looking for, o... vad folk säger » therwise you may appreciate the extra space which is rare in this part of the world ;) - From arrival to departure the staff were excellent and helpful, all reception staff spoke good English. The bedroom was large and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, a continental buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. The hotel is close to the old city centre and is close to the arena.

The gentleman (manager?) on reception repeatedly went out of his way to assist us - from ordering taxis, storing baggage and receiving us after hours to posting back my phone charger when I accidentally left it behind when checking out (Thankyou!).   The place was amazin. We stayed for one night, which was my first stay in Italy, and it was amazin. The room was gorgeous, it was very clean and quite, and the service was excellent. We asked for a bottle of prosecco to be placed in our room during our opera visit and found it with a nice personal note in the fridge on our return. Wouldn't have traded this place for any five star hotel in the centre. It was the perfect getaway, quiet, clean and so very beautiful. Extra credit for the warm and helpful staff. (stayed 3 nights in the deluxe double room)
