  Läget, tyst och lugnt. - Nice, atmospheric hotel. Good location. - The hotel is really well located. Even from the train station, the busstops at the corner of the hotel street (4-5 stops). You can easily walkto all attractions. As a solo traveler, single rooms are usually not thebest. In this case I even had a balcony! Staff very friendly.   If I could give La Torre 6 stars for staff & location, I would! Signora Lucia made sure she drew us up a complete tour tailor-made to our available time in Verona, along with excellent recommendations for gelato, dinner, etc. She is an absolute gem. Nice breakfast (including lovely pastries from nearby bakery), good-sized room, very clean, only 1 flight up (but lift available - Everything about the B&B was perfect. In the heart of the old city, the B&B is ideally situated just off the main shopping street and only a few minutes walk from the arena, Piazza Erbe, Romeo and Juliet's houses. The B&B rooms cannot be faulted. They are furnished to the highest standard and with great style. They are well equipped down to the tiniest detail! Breakfast was outstanding and nothing was too much for the adorable Signora Lucia. A truly amazing stay. We will return!

  When we stayed here it was the fourth leg of our honeymoon trip across Italy. On arrival we were taken aback at how beautiful the hotel was and its amazing central location. When we checked in we were pleasantly surprised, ad very happy, to be upgraded to a spectacular room. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. A huge variety of different food to choose from, all freshly made and - The location of this hotel was perfect, half way between the two main squares in Verona and just over a five minute walk to the Arena.   The set-up is a bit weird, there is no actual hotel lobby. Instead you are given keys by the staff of the Ippoppotamo restaurant. But, then you are led to the back of the hotel and to your own private room and wow! The hotel isn't cheap but it surely is worth every cent!   Owner of Villa Mainard was one of the nicest people we've ever met! Even with limited English, he was so helpful to us. Our apartment was beautiful, very spacious, and wonderful to stay in - we wish we could have stayed longer! Getting to attend the Chievo/AC Milan game was one of the highlights of our trip, and Villa Mainard helped make that p... vad folk säger » ossible - thank you!!! He also recommended the best pizza we've ever eaten in our lives - all in all, a great stay. - We had two apartments which were both very spacious. We wanted to be able to cook in a couple of nights and that proved easy to do.   Nuova Opera Rooms is one of the best places we have ever stayed. The hosts were very friendly and we were surprised when we realised on the second day of our stay that they were identical twins :)) The room was very clean, full of light and with a great view over the hills.   It was very very clean, and the rooms were so comfortable and new. We had a balcony terrace in our room and we had breakfast outside every morning. The place only has 3 rooms, but there are 3 washrooms. The kitchen is stocked with a lot of kitchen supplies. And look out for the breakfast- there is so much to choose from!!! So good!!! When we arrived we called the guy and h - Great location in the centre of Verona, just 5 minutes from the Roman arena, and 10-15min walk from train station. Basic refreshments for breakfast both in the kitchen in main building and in the corridor in the annexe which was convenient.

  Our room in the spa annex of the hotel was wonderful. On the top floor with goregous beams and fantastic decor. The staff were all really helpful and friednly. Breakfast was served downstairs in the main hotel and was very nice. The location is great - a few minutes walk from the fantastic Piazza Bra and the Arena.   We arrived at the Hotel after a very long days work and a long drive ontop and I was feeling totally exhausted and was not looking forward to the rush to change and making the dash into the centre for the areana, which would start in I hour. The Hotel reception picked up my exhaustion and just could't have been more understanding or helpful..... vad folk säger » - A very good choice.   Beautiful hotel, close to the arena. Beautiful room, very clean and comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful. I would definitely choose this hotel again - Very convenient. Ideal location if you are travelling by car. True four star quality.
