The perfect combination between the busy, touristy Venice and tranquility of a rural village on the coast. In about 30 minutes you are in Venice (Piazza San Marco) by bus and by boat. Remeber to buy a tourist travel card, so you can hop-on-hop-off everywhere. Fantastic owners and 'mi casa es su casa' is their motto. Do not expect modern luxury, but clean, country-style rooms with many wood and terracotta elements. Italian br - After flying into Marco Polo airport and getting our luggage onto the Alilaguna ferry, we really appreciated knowing that we would be met at the Lido ferry terminal. Our host gave excellent directions for how to get about by bus for the rest of our stay. The room was perfect, very clean and spacious, and the shower very hot - great after a long day sightseeing in Venice. Internet access was easy in our room too.   The hotel is centrally located on Lido Island. The hotel and room were very clean and modern. Breakfast was served in a bright room and was what you expect (meats cheeses, rolls, coffee...). The hotel is located just off main street that has lots of restaurants and shopping. The beach is a 5 minute walk and is great for shell collecting! Overall a nice quiet place to stay away from the crowds of V - The staff were nice, friendly, and helpful. They kindly provided useful information and tips for touring Venice. The room was clean and quiet, it was spacious for 2 adults and 2 children. The air-condition was adequate. The hotel was located away from the main street. At first, we had some difficulty to find it. But once we found it, it was very easy. We enjoyed our staying.

Also, despite some bad(ish) reviews on various websites all 10 in our party found the staff very pleasant and helpful, the dining room excellent for both breakfast and evening meals and could not fault anything. The free internet access also very useful as were the many other included facilities. - A real find.
