  Rent och bra Hotel. Bussen in till staden var perfekt. - The shuttle bus service to the city center was so convenient and excellent. We had a wonderful stay at Jolly Hotel Midas - Breakfast was really good with all varieties of selection suited for different tastes.

  I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and especially about the people who run it! We absolutely loved it! It is extremely clean, cleaned daily by staff, towels changed every 2 days. Every need we had they provided. The receptionist was particularly helpful with hotel related stuff and with touristic questions as well. The hotel - Jewel who runs the hotel was brilliant, so accommodating and willing to help all the time. The location of the hotel was perfect, close to the Colosseum and from here we could also walk to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona. Do not be put off the front door, just walk to the second floor and its like you are in a different building! Couldn't fault this hotel at all.

Note, that hotel is located on the 3rd floor (!) of an old building, where elevator aged of 100 years too. First of all, elevator is quite tiny.   The staff were so knowledgeable about how to get around the city in the cheapest way and most practical way. The breakfast was delicious and filling. The staff speaks English! The beds were impressively comfortable! Everything was clean. The hotel is gated so we felt safe. There are emergency alarms in the rooms with a cord attached, so if you nee... vad folk säger » d help or you're in an emergency situation just pull the cord. Our phones died before we went to bed so we called the desk to ask for a wake up call a - The hotel was clean and I particularly liked the bathroom with heated towel bars. The staff were very friendly. We only talked to them in Italian, so I'm not sure if they can serve tourists in English. They answered any questions we had about transportation and sold us tickets for the city bus (which can't always be purchased on-board). Breakfast was your typical continental breakfast-style, but ingredients were fresh.
