The hostess was great and the breakfast food and coffee were a greatstart to the day. The rooms were large and the views were great. The Spiga d'Oro was a great farmhouse in the heart of Tuscany. It was conveniently located so that we were able to do some wonderful day trips within a reasonable drive: Florence, Arezzo, Siena, Cortona, Montepuliciano. The accommodations were great. Our kitchen was well-equipped and they offered a welcome basket of essential provisions; however there was a very nice little grocers in a small town about 1Km away if needed.
