  Although we originally booked this b &B just as a place to stay that was centrally located to allow us to go site seeing to Milan, lake Garda, lake Como etc, it turned out to be a really excellent choice. The owner Phillipe was incredibly helpful..when you arrive he provided several local area maps, with highlighted areas of interest for you t... vad folk säger » o use during your stay..and actually spent at least 15 minutes on arrival explaining local culture and places of interest within the old town of Berga - Ideal transfert organized by Phillippo to hotel, very late at night. It took some 10 minutes, otherwise it would be hard to find house in darkness without proper map. Room was large and comfortable, bathroom idealy clean. We were served traditional Italian breakfast, with tasty grapefruit juice and toasts. The hotel was empty as tourism season was over, so we could feel like at home. Surrondings are quiet. Bus Nr. 9 stop is only some 200 m far and it goes to centre. It is also possible to get

  We stayed one night at “B&B Botton d'Oro Pelabrocco”. The hotel is easy to reach from airport by bus No.1. Bus stop is just few meters from the hotel. The hotel is situated close to historical centre of Bergamo and funicular. Check-in is from 14:00, but we came at 13:00 and got a room with no problems.
