  Owned by a lovely family, who made us feel very welcome and are also extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. It is very close to a wonderful sparkling beach which is very safe for swimming. Very quiet set among lots of trees. As it is a little distance from shops and restaurants, a car would be useful.   Wonderful place with great staff & dining facility. A beautiful walk to the beach through garden with flowers and fruit trees. The beach is just the right size with two restaurants and 2 shops, it is a small village with great atmosphere. The hotel had all the services and made sure that we have everything and more.   Our stay in Mistral was excellent. The location is superb, the staff in the hotel cannot do enough for you. Arranged car hire for us & checked bus time tables etc. Tomas was very friendly, we had a truly brilliant 5 night stay in Elba & will definitely return at some stage!
