  The two best things about this small hotel was the owner Ettore and the location. Ettore couldn't have been more helpful.I have never experienced any staff member at any place I have ever stayed who was more welcoming. We certainly didn't need to refer to any guide books while we were in his hotel. he was genuinly interested in how our day went and and did all he - Ettore was a wonderful and thoughtful host that made our stay very enjoyable. He was tremendously helpful in answering any of our questions. He offered a great overview of things to see and do not only in Sorrento but on the Amalfi Coast. He was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to suggest some great restaurants. The B&B was in an excellent location (in old town) - walking distance to the ferry terminal, train station, shopping and restaurants. The accomodations were comfortabl

  The staff was outstanding...so helpful, friendly, and responsive. We enjoyed talking to them...beyond the usual traveller conversations..the atmosphere was warm and enlightening.   I loved everything about this apartment. I was skeptical at first about the area and price. After me and my friends arrived we soon realized we would never want to leave! Our apartment was a 6 person apartment on the first floor. We could leave the doors open at night and hear the sea while we fell asleep. We called Rose to let her know we - Rosa the manager was very kind and helpful to us. It has a wonderful location right on the beach in the middle of things yet was also quiet.

  Excellent location, great park (kids were very happy). Kitchen was a big plus for us. If you want to got to s beach, Misena is just 15 min drive away. Alessandra is very friendly.

  This is just perfect hotel with a location at Spaccanapoli, close to Santa Chiara. You cant go wrong by staying here. There are a few issues though. First there is no breakfast, no food at all. You will get a meal ticket, you can use this to pay for a coffe and a croissant at the coffe bar at Piazza S. Domenico Maggiore, a 7 min walk from the hote... vad folk säger » l. I didnt, it was to upperclass for my taste, so I had my morning coffe at small coffe bar in Via Sebastiano, of course I had to pay, that meal tick - The hotel is on the second floor, so plenty of stairs, but Vincent was on hand to help with our bags. We had a large double room with en suite shower room, and a small balcony facing Santa Chiara. You're right in the middle if the historical centre of the city with easy access to all the churches etc. the room was clean and if you kept the French doors to the balcony closed, you couldn't hear any traffic noise at all.   We chose this location as it was en route to Rome and needed to chill. The GaiaChiara Resort Hotel was exactly what we were looking for. The restaurant that was down the road from the Hotel was also excellent.   The location is perfect, the area is safe, max. 10 min. walk to the dome, about 15 min. walk to the port, 20 min. to Via Toledo. The hotel is smart, very clean, really good value for the price you can use everything in the kitchen, the host is really-really nice and helfpul, even if they doesn't speak much English, but it wasn't a problem at all. ... vad folk säger » The breakfast is only sweet things, but in Italy usually is :) We would book this hotel again! - Actually, this hotel is reconstructed from an appartment. There are 3 rooms in one flat with private bathroom and toilette. and also one salon for share and breakfast.   Let's start with the staff, they are so helpful and friendly. This hotel is located right on the main strip and close to restaurants, shoppes, the old town, etc.. It is very modern, clean and quiet (double paned doors block out most street noise). We had a balcony overlooking the Main Street that is closed to traffic every evening (pedestrian zone... vad folk säger » ), we loved being a part of the action but if you prefer something a little quieter ask for a room on the other side of the hotel. We thought the brea - This was my favorite hotel stay on our trip to Italy. Pepe and his staff were the best; professional, super friendly, I can't say more to express how warm and helpful they were. We had a wonderful room. It had all the amenities we needed and a large bathroom. Breakfast was more than wonderful. The location was spot on, right in the middle of town. It's all you could want and need for a lovely stay in Sorrento.
