The staff at the Marincanto were just too amazing... Right from check-in .. To the lady who got the luggage to the room.. To the pool attendant Gianni ... To the front desk staff at check out...all super super hospitable..!! They went out of their way to make me feel at home..!!!
The location is perfect & just a short walk from the beach & shopping & restaurants ...
In short.... Total value for money...& I'm definitely staying at the Marincanto next time I'm in Positano..!

The hotel was nicely located and easy to get to by cab. You were able to get dropped off right in front of the hotel by car. If you come by boat, you would need to take the steep walk up to the hotel, though porters are readily available to take your luggage. L'Uliveto is the best and most wonderful place I could choose for our 5-day trip along Amalfi coast: very kind hosts who are always willing to help you (a really wonderful family!), very well-furnished and incredibly clean rooms, balcony with a marvellous view, tranquillity,homemade breakfast served in a very pleasant atmosphere ... and all that at a very decent price! -
The owners of the hotel are very friendly and don't spare their efforts to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location is good, in a small village above positano, there is a bus service to take you down. The hotel is a good walk away from the main road via steps so pack light. The view from the room is absolutely stunning. I can't wait to go back.

The property is a great vacation getaway. It has everything from nice clean rooms, nice scented soaps and lotions, strong Internet connectivity and good food and wine.
The main area is very relaxing and creatively decorated for a great place to hang out. It is close to the beach and they allow you to take bikes out to explore the local sites.

Highly recommended. Right in the heart of Sorrento. Only 15 minutes walk to train station and bus depot. We had a spacious room overlooking the piazza. Friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely stay there again when we return to Sorrento. No lifts, so you better practice lifting your suitcases up a few flight of stairs. I didn't mind because

We stayed at La Soffitta for five nights and enjoyed our hosts relaxed and friendly BnB. Carmen is friendly and easy to communicate with, she makes homemade breakfast cakes every morning and brings with it good coffee, conversation and very handy local information such as bus routes, where to visit, and where to get the best local produce.
While we were there we visited Vietre Sul Mare, Solerno and Amalfie, all accessed by bus which was very easy and convenient.
