  Our hosts, Aldo and Rosa, made our stay in Matera memorable for all the right reasons. From Aldo's kind greeting, complete explanation of all the facilities and help to find the secure parking for our car (he even accompanied me to it, organised a cheap special rate for our 2 days, and then walked back to the B&B with me - 10 minutes walk) to ... vad folk säger » Rosa's breakfasts and her kind attention to detail. The room had a super balcony overlooking the Sassi, cathedral and a busy street with plenty of lif - We loved everything about this place. The apartment itself was spacious and clean; the balcony, looking out over the sassi and the Duomo, was fabulous and perfect for an afternoon aperitivo. The cafe/bar downstairs was great and run by a friendly woman. Best of all were Aldo and Rosa... the best hosts ever!   We had a private entrance that made our stay very easy with our medium size dog. The location is great for those wanting a quiet area, near shopping for groceries and a few restaurants. Easy 5 minute walk to the Sassi. The Staff was superb!!   Amazing cave room - absolutely HUGE! Believe this was the best room and it certainly had the wow factor and provided a unique experience. Lovely outside terrace too.Staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was delicious and generous. A fabulous experience and would highly recommend a trip to this amazing place. - The location in the centre of Sassi is perfect. The amenities were excellent, we did not want for anything and outstanding views right in front of the Hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.   Very hospitable hosts, very good accommodation across the street from their restaurant, where excellent breakfasts were served. It was a good experience to stay in the centre of Matera.   Läget är vackert och den lilla orten mysig men ändå "in the middle of nowhere". Vi var enbart på genomresa men för en längre vistelse hade vi nog valt ett annat läge. - Large room and terrace, high quality local food, helpful staff, close to motorway. - A perfect hotel off the maim road as a stopover rest on a long journey.
