  What a wonderful place to stay with so much History at your finger tips! The staff were all very helpful. We were given an upgrade at no extra cost. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. It was such a delight to walk around the Sassi, especially at night. - The situation was beautiful, the staff were very friendly and helpful, even recomm... vad folk säger » ending great places for us to eat. The rooms were clean, warm and comfortable and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

  We opened the shutters in our room to see a superb view of the famous sassi of Matera. The staff at reception went out of their way to help us check the details of the next leg of our journey and the friendliness we received left us with just a desire to return soon.   Charming B&B in the true sense, where the hosts are proud of the place they run, where home made products are served for breakfast and where one is welcomed in a warm and personal way. Location is AAA.. interior is pretty stylish for originally very poor man's lodgings. One could not wish for more anywhere really..!   Very hospitable hosts, very good accommodation across the street from their restaurant, where excellent breakfasts were served. It was a good experience to stay in the centre of Matera. No problem or charge for parking at this time of year (October)in the street outside the apartment - Matera is an amazing place and it was nice to be in the middl... vad folk säger » e of the Sassi. The owners were friendly and very helpful when it came to changing a booking arrangement. Great breakfast in the restaurant across the road from room.

  Amazing cave room - absolutely HUGE! Believe this was the best room and it certainly had the wow factor and provided a unique experience. Lovely outside terrace too.Staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was delicious and generous. A fabulous experience and would highly recommend a trip to this amazing place. - The location in the centre of Sassi is perfect. The amenities were excellent, we did not want for anything and outstanding views right in front of the Hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.   Our host Sylvia was very welcoming and when we got lost driving into Matera she came to get us in her car. The room was large with tasteful furnishings, two big windows and an elegant bathroom. The location was excellent and being behind a church with a large tower was easy to find from anywhere in the town. Breakfast was served in a communal kitchen area which was also ava - This is one of the best BB's we ever stayed. The room was very convenient, quiet and nicely decorated. The location is just perfect in the heart of Matera with a walking distance to all interesting places, but also 10 minutes walk to the train station and to the airport bus. The owner is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is good and nicely served.

  The owner, Roberto, went out of his way to be accommodating. He obviously takes a lot of pride in his hotel, which just opened in January.
