  Fabulous room on two levels with a view over the ocean; great minimalist decor. The lounge was a wonderful place to watch the sun set over the ocean... although drinks buffet a bit pricey (good food though).   Blu is situated about 1km from the port of Vulcano. The staff speak English and they were only to happy to send the shuttle bus to collect us and our luggage. The Hotel is actually a large collection of spacious, full equipped apartments, ie cooker, utensils etc. The bathroom was spotless as was the rest of the apartment. Here you will find seati - The pool area was great with a stunning view over the bay. The snack bar served excellent salads and paninis for lunch. The accommodation was spartan but clean and comfortable and well-designed so that you stay cool even at the hottest part of the day. The staff were very helpful and considerate and the shuttle bus down to the town is a great benefit. Ring or e-mail ahead and they will pick you up from the ferry when you arrive.

  It was in a superb location easily reached by foot from theferry..beautiful place tasefully decorated and absolutely spotless.   We enjoyed our stay very much. Were picked up by their shuttle bus at port and made very welcome by all staff. Rooms good size and clean very comfortable. Great views from the top floor where we had drinks and breakfast near pool area.   Just perfect ! Lot's of space, TV, nice bath and shower, huge terrace with chairs and table, little kitchen, good break-fast, very friendly at the reception. Just at the end of the main street in Lipari.   The breakfast was lovely, there was plenty on offer and they served til10am. It was also in a very good position to the main corso but farenough away to not to be in the main hub of noise all night. The bed wasvery comfortable too which is always good news.
