  Overall we had a nice 5 day's stay at the hotel. The Island is still pretty and unspoilt and there are some small rocky beaches. Positive is the friendly staff and serving a good breakfast.   We were very impressed by the way staff arranged all transfers particularly because we did not speak Italian. The desk staff were wonderful. Such a relief to be able to communicate in English. Loved the place. - Great staff, beautiful grounds.

Close to beaches that you can reach by foot but note that restaurants and 'night life' (bar, pub...) are all located in Lipari center (easily reachable by bis).   The hotel provided a shuttle service free of charge. There was a lovely man waiting for us when we got off the hydrofoil, which made the travel a lot less stressful.   Staff were very helpful and did not hesitate at Calling several times on our behalf to arrange activiteis for us. Different evening events was arranged as a big plus. Restaurant that was recommended to us was great. Good prices for the room, and the location is great, but the Island is small so access is never an issue.
