  Tourist House Ghiberti was very close to the Duomo and within easy walking distance of the railway station and all the attractions we came to see. Claudio was an excellent host. Buffet breakfast was simple and very nice. Room was clean and facilities were more than we required (internet etc). We will be recommending to our friends. - The size of both the bedroom and bathroom and the charm of this historic building. It's proximity to the Duomo gave us an excellent central point from which to do all our touring on foot. Breakfast selection was varied and good. Claudio was very helpful in answering all our questions. Having free interent access was great for additional research while in Italy and checking in with family.

  Everything about it was magnificent. Couldn't have asked for anything else. Huge room in immaculate condition in a great area. Vittoria was very attentive and helped with all enquiries (even offering me a scarf at one point). This place is a MUST!!

  We arrived early from our previous hotel and were able to call and get in early. The B&B is located on the 3rd and 4th floors of an apartment building. While the room was being prepared, the wonderful manager took out a map of Florence and provided a background to Florentine history/culture, pointed out things not on tourist maps, suggested lu... vad folk säger » nch and dinner options and told us a bit about the area where we were staying, filled with Florentine natives rather than tourists. We'd been to Flore - We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by Antonio who was wonderful! He oriented us to Florence, gave us a map, and made recommendations. He also recommended and helped us plan a day trip to Lucca. He helped us find train times and recommended a great restaurant. The room was large enough and each child had their own bed. We liked that fact that is was away from the crowds in a quiet neighborhood. Although the breakfast is mostly sweets, there is a grocery store next to the Ponteveccio,

  The owners were really nice and very helpful. The villa was situated outside the city but was only a few minutes to the bus stop that took us directly into Florence itself. The room was beautiful - a luxurious big bed, loads of space and a lovely en-suite bathroom with shower. Air conditioning and a kettle with tea and coffee available. Breakfast... vad folk säger » was well catered and a good variety. We loved this place and wished we had stayed longer. - This house is really amazing!!!!! Nice villa surrounded by lush garden, excellent atmosphere inside, great room, really nice owner (Elena), close to the bus station to the Florence city centre (about 10 minutes) = we could only recommend! It´s a pitty that we have stayed there only 1 night.

  ROMANTIC! Husband & wife hosts Livio and Minea are so friendly and hospitable - you feel more like you're staying with family or friends than at a B&B. Livio is the chef and makes beautiful dinner - there is no set menu, rather the available options change from day to day depending on what produce he has available. The staff was absolutely wonderful! Very helpful and very friendly. We stayed in room number 3, which was actually more like having your own cottage than your common hotel room. No tv or phone in the rooms which shouldnt be a problem for anyone because You are in Florence ! Get out and walk around. We arrived at the train station and took a cab to our room(€25). Once we arrived the staff told us about a bus route close by and fo
