  First and foremost, the location was incredible. When we first got there, we spent five minutes finding the place despite being in the supposed location. However, this was solely because we couldn't imagine a place for this price to be on the Piazza de Republica!! The extremely helpful staff (the young woman in particular - embarrassingly, having not remembered her name - was lovely, helpful and made the - Hotel is very centrally located and it is easy to get to all interesting places. The street is busy and sometimes a little noisy (people, not cars) but it does not disturb you that much - you just feel yourself a part of a big tourist crowd:) We stayed in a room for 4 people. It was good, clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast is basic but it has everything one may need including some fruits. Staff is really nice, friendly and helpful.   From the moment we arrived in the hotel we were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and helpfulness of Luigi at reception. He was very pleasant. We ate in two restaurants close - This hotel is in a spectacular building and location. I stayed here based on the reviews of the roof terrace, and it was just as wonderful as others stated. We went up a few times throughout our stay and there was never anyone up there - we were able to take photos and just relax. The staff was very friendly and helpful - at the desk 24 hrs a day.   The Hotel was walking distance of the Duomo and other famous sites. Staff was very friendly and helpful with local info and maps. Shopping there was great at the Mercato Centrale. - Staff 100% friendly and helpful. Very central location.

  The location is fabulous, centrally located and near to nearly everything you would want to see in Florence. We visited with our 8 and 5 year olds and they loved the carousel, pastry shops, and activity on the Plaza, which is right outside of the door. The Duomo is just a skip away. The main room was a little more crowded, but the two single beds wo - The location is unbeatable, right in the centre of Florence and yet an easily walkable distance from smn station. The apartment was spacious for 2 people (my 11 yr old granddaughter and me). Having to go first to Hotel Lanzi did not present a problem for us and I particularly liked the fact that, having paid for the flat when we first arrived, we were not required to return to the hotel at check out - we were told to just leave the key device on the kitchen table.

  The location is perfect! The room was big, even though we did not have a bathroom in the room, we had to go trought corridor, it really didn't bothered. Great guest house. - Incredible room,fantastic city location,excellent staff,unbelievable value for money,best guest house we have ever stayed in.Highly recommended.
