  This was a lovely romantic haven in Venice. It was incredibly peaceful, very clean and stylish and the owners were very friendly without being intrusive. We had an absolutely wonderful holiday and only wished we stayed longer. Great access from the airport (first stop on the main island) and quick links by boat round the outside of Venice to St Ma... vad folk säger » rk's and Murano. The local neighbourhood is full of real venetians and we really feel that we had a unique experience by staying here. Highly highly r - Everything was wonderful! Hossep, the manager, was the most helpful person ever, the appartment was perfect, spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. The location is fantastic, next to the most beautiful church in Venice and looking out onto the lagoon with views of Murano. And a hop and a skip from the vaporetto stop. Beautifully quiet but with facilities nearby and within easy walking distance of the tourist areas (if you are up for that sort of thing). Loved it, loved it!!

  Let me start by saying we enjoyed our stay at Le Repubbliche Marinare 140%. Room was clean, spacious, marble on the floor, nothing to complain there. We didn't have some special view, but we came to Venice to wonder about, not to sit in a room all day (even if it rained). Every day we had croissants, biscuits, cereal, milk, orange juice, yogurt, tea, coffee, butter, toast and all the utensils necessary to prepare th - It was in an apt building. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Not a standard hotel. Just a room in someones apt building in venice. The outside of the building looked like I had made a mistake by booking the room but judging a book by its cover is never fair. A great stay for a night in the middle of Venice. Easy access to water taxi, San Marcos Square, and anywhere else really. I would definitely stay here again.

  Excellent location! View from the balcony of our room was awesome! Price is very good for Venice. Antonio was very welcoming and helped us with all questions we had. Dominique seems has worse English so for more complex questions it's better to communicate with Antonio. Breakfast was ok too: cereals, yoghurt, croissants, cookies, butter and cheese. Nothing special but it was enough to - The roowas nice & clean. Breakfast was great for a Italian B&B !   Excellent customer service on check in, at breakfast and from housekeeping staff. We struggled to find the property on arrival, and were stood opposite looking a little lost when a guy emerged and asked us if we were looking for the B&B.   The staff were fantastic. Both young women were friendly, courteous and helpful. When we mixed our dates up and blythely overstayed, they worked out a way to accommodate us in their fully-booked hostel. The location is terrific. We were in Venice for the Biennale and walked to all the Pavilions from the hostel. We discovered it was quicker to walk... vad folk säger » than take a vaperetto to the Giardini and Arsenale. We also enjoyed the very social gatherings around the breakfast table with women from all corners - The space is nice to be in. I liked the old building itself with marble floors, high ceilings, big breakfast room and nice living room where guest can sit and talk, it adds to the feel of the city. It was incredibly clean during all the 5 days that I stayed. The staff is very friendly. The location is central. It's a women only place, so if you are not looking for a mixed noisy crowed it is perfect.
