A bit of a find, this - right in the centre of Siena, the many stairs lead to a top floor maze of linked apartments managed from the floor below. Astonishing views from both communal areas and some rooms. Kitchen extremely well set up and spacious - could happily cook a family meal here if travelling on a budget. Theres even a freezer. Owners good-natured and helpful eg: allowed us to leave bags there on last day to pick up later.

We loved staying here. It was cozy, and felt like home. The location was perfect, just a short walk down the street to the Campo. Siena is a very romantic medieval city. Be sure to ask for the room on the upper floors with a view. The view is spectacular from up there and the walk up (no elevator) is worth the hike. The breakfast is good and the people polite. You are right in the center of the old town and the evening bar next door is good for a nightcap or snack. Safe place even late at night and the bag storage
