  What's not to like about a luxury yacht moored close to Venice with its own free water taxi to get you back after the water buses stop running. despite misgivings about the yacht being moored on another island it was very easy to get to Venice and back with a ten minute water bus ride. Would recommend this for a different and special experience. -... vad folk säger » The simple fact that it was an yacht. You slept in one of the cabins, could enjoy the sun in the deck, and so on. If you by any chance wanted to have dinner in Venice you didn't have to call a water taxi (the last bus is at 8pm) - they have a free transfer service to the yacht.

  The two-bedroom suite was great. The rooms were large and nicely decorated. The bathroom had an additional room with a 2nd sink, so two adults could easily get cleaned up. The hotel is very convenient to St. Mark's Square just by crossing the Grand Canal via traghetto, and then walking a couple of blocks.   The fact that was a residence. How often can you stay in a Venetian home? Carpets were a bit rundown and the lighting could be perkier but overall the stay was fab. There is no staff to speak of but the one man who signed us in was very efficient.   Staff, cleanliness, proximity to shopping streets and Piazzale Rome. Walking took some 20 mins odd with heavy luggage. Though in the interior streets the location is just very good for budget travellers. Especially this guy called Harry at the reception was too helpful. He picked us up from the streets when we were lost in venice at late midnight ... vad folk säger » and checked us in. Overall very good stay - Great location. Quiet yet so close to main area. Easy to get to with instructions initially. Can walk to Rialto, Station and San Marco. Lots of ristorante nearby. Our room was very comfortable & shared bathroom was clean with great water pressure! We could also leave our bags on last day after check out & come back for them. Really appreciated this
