Strategic position: walking distance from station and airport; the staff was helpful; room was clean, had AC, TV and free wi-fi. I had to stay there for one night, and take a flight the day after and I paid a small price for a room with a shared bathroom, but ended up using the bathroom by myself, as they put me in a floor where everyone else had their own en-suite. Staff is there 24-hour a day. -
Owner Chiara was fantastic, always amenable and helpful, bright smile, friendly, and always found the time for you. Hotel staff were unobtrusive and kept the rooms spotless. Little things like changing the towels twice and the bed once for a three night stay are things not found in some 3 & 4 star hotels. Full marks for the Moderno, a 2 star hotel, with a 4 star service and a 5 star owner.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. It was extremely clean, the room and the kitchen were well equipped. It is located in a quiet street very close to the railway station and to the main sights too.The house has a nice garden with beautiful plants. We could have a very good time at this place. I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights, the owner is very professional, friendly, respectful and helpful, the owner bought me an alarm clock because my phone broke down on the trip and I was to take a train early the other day. Very well located, the hotel has a kitchen and is a very clean place. I highly recommend it because I had a great time there.

Marco Baldacci (manager) was excellent: I had to check in late due to flight arrival time and he waited up, let me in and made me welcome. The apartment has everything you need (shared kitchen, shared bathrooms, shared dining room with internet point), and is clean and pleasant. Many people here don't like the location of "Five Roses", but for me it is quite the contrary. The B&B is very easy to reach, if u decide to simply walk from the airport - literally 15 mins - walk along via dell'Aeroporto, cross the railway tracks, go down the stairs and you will face via Antonio Fratti, walk along it and the gate will be on ur left - impossible to miss! We stayed there for three nights. It is located not even ten minutes walking from the station. It takes however more than 20 minutes to get to the Leaning Tower. The b&b is beautifully designed, with cute furniture and you can feel the great attention to detail. We stayed in Paris room which had a private external bathroom across the corridor but that was not a big problem. There is a nice terrace where you can have your breakfast or some wine in the evening.
