  Guest House brand new, very elegant and taste great, comfortable. Free Wi-Fi, electric kettle, DVD player and beautiful shower with chromotherapy. The room is not very big, but enough.   Nice knowledgeable and friendly staff( Russian, English, Italian), great location( we lived in the same building with Prada and Caffe Greco), nice clean room, cozy Italian bar for breakfast. We are definitely recommending this family hotel for a first time traveler- all suggestions we've got from the owner - restaurants, shops, sites, transportati... vad folk säger » on -were excellent . Note: for a tourist who prefer the anonymity of a big hotel this is not a solution. Roma 55 is a small family business with five - We liked everything about this cosy and home away from home hotel. The location is perfect for shopping and sightseeing - a 1 minute walk to Spanish steps. Lots of cafes and restaurants in the area, a food store is 5 min walk. The owning couple of the hotel (Natalya and her husband) were extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgebable and also nice partners in conversation.I was met by Natalya- a very friendly lady who gave an informative introduction to the city of Rome.   We loved staying at the Five Oscars Inn. Massimo was a great host, from arranging the car to and from the airport and helping us navigate the city. The location is perfect and in easy walking distance to all the sights including the Coliseum, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. Massimo provides free movies to watch in your room which was an unexpected treat. The room and - 1. Hospitality - Massimo was amaising! We were arriving very late and he arranged a car for our trip which was a very good advice indeed! His recommendations for the restaurants are stellar. We were running a marathon on Sunday and he even prepared us breakfast in our room so we could have it earlier than when the restraurant openned. He is really a great host! 2.   The location (few steps away from Piazza di Spagna) and the decoration of the rooms. This place is in the heart of Rome, perfectly located for a city/shopping trip. All the areas were clean and we loved our stay there. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone travelling to Rome. It's very small, with just 4 rooms. It is brand-new and just opened in the fall of 2013. When we had an issue with the mattress being too hard the manager addressed it right away by putting a soft cover on it. The street has hardly any cars which is nice but there is a restaurant right below so you will need to close the windows to sleep.
