  My partner and I just spent two nights at the Hotel Arcadia and are glad we decided to stay there. It’s a delightful small hotel, with 17 rooms, and was lovingly restored by owner, Luigi and his wife, Simone, about 18 months ago. Although it is not on a canal, it's only 20 seconds walk to Grand Canal, 30 min leisuer walk to St. Marco's Squre, and 10 min walk to St. Lucia Train Station which is very convenient to us as we were travelling by train. Staff were delightful and friendly, all spoke excellent english and could not do enough to make sure our stay was a memorable one. Close to vaparetto stop and walking distance of Rialto and other attractions. Good local trattorias close by with better fare than in the ver
