  The owner of Hotel Genziana is one of the nicest and accommodating people we have met on our travels. Our stay was very enjoyable and for a facility with a shared bathroom, we did not mind this at all due to the cleanliness and support of staff. Bed, very comfortable and location is only 150 metres from the nearest Metro. Your cafe latte was lovel - Good value, minimal, but clean room we had. The location of the hotel is unexpected.. Right in the middle of the labyrinth of dark alleyways of Genoa. Unique underground experience (for a night or two the most) with hookers and pushers around => Not for those with children though.

  1. Amazing location. Right in the city center. Genova was a lot of small dirty streets, where you might be afraid to walk in the late evening. This is not the case here. The hotel is located on the central clean street with a lot of light and big elegant shops. This is pleasant.   Located within walking distance from the Genova Brignole train station on the 5th floor of a Genova townhouse, the Albergo Astro is a great choice if you are travelling on a budget (or your employer decides you have to). Rooms were perfectly clean and in very good condition, mine even had a balcony. Staff was very friendly, as well.   breakfast delivered in the morning - The location was not bad. It wasn't right near the action, but it was on a busy street close to some restaurants and shops. It was only a 10 Euro cab ride away to the downtown area.

  There is nothing to complain about. Good place for that money. Not far from train station. Friendly staff. - Very nice hotel, not far from the city center of Genoa (15 min to walk). There is a bath in the room, but no WC.
