  The staff were really really great!!! They allowed us to store our bags with them for 3 days while we travelled to the Cinque Terre. They were really helpful in advising us things to do in Genoa and places to go for dinner (the rec for Soho was great! Probably the best meal we had!) It's a typical European room (i.e., small bedroom, small bathroom... vad folk säger » ), but it had AC (which was necessary) and the hotel is in a great location, only a minute to Via Garibaldi and 5 or so mins to Piazza de Ferrari and - The hotel's central location in Genoa was its biggest benefit. Walking distance from the main train station, and very accessible to all that the old city of Genoa has to offer. Plenty of food options close by, as well as the funicular to the surrounding areas. The quirky retro feel of the hotel with original art was a pleasant surprise. It was extremely clean and all staff/owners very polite and helpful.

  great location. right next door to the train station so no need for a taxi. bloke on reception sorted me out with a beer when everywhere else was closed. - everything... the breakfast was so and so, but i spent "little" money on the room, so i guess is just ok!!

  Over the last 15 years we have traveled extensively throughout Italy and stayed in many lovely and accommodating B&Bs. QuartoPiano is among those at the top of our list. I doubt one can find better lodging in Genova or a more welcoming host than Emiliana and her family. The rooms and common areas are spotlessly clean, spacious and cozy.   Läget, gångavstånd från järnvägsstationen. Rummens storlek - We actually stayed at their sister hotel,Hotel Savoia, next door as Hotel Continental was under renovations. This was a 4-5 star hotel priced much lower. We will definitely stay there again.   We stayed here for 1 night with our 2 children, aged 2 and 4 and our small dog. The hosts were fantastic. We are travelling for a year and have a lot of luggage in our car and a roof box that doesn't lock - the owner called around for us until he found a private garage nearby where we could safely park our car.   Clean, friendly family run hotel. Good location near beach and lots of great restaurants. Nice buffet breakfast. We had an apartment, which was quite comfortable. Our daughter and son in law had a large room with a balcony in the main hotel, which was very nice. - Good views. Cooking facilities. Close to bus stop.
