  Over the last 15 years we have traveled extensively throughout Italy and stayed in many lovely and accommodating B&Bs. QuartoPiano is among those at the top of our list. I doubt one can find better lodging in Genova or a more welcoming host than Emiliana and her family. The rooms and common areas are spotlessly clean, spacious and cozy. Additionally this gem is located in a lovely private p - The B&B being on the top floor of a former palace in the heart of old Genoa is the perfect location for a city break. It's close to everything including the train station. Emi, who runs the B&B was a perfect host and a font of local knowledge from train times to restaurants. The rooms are very stylish, well equipped and quiet. The whole b&b including the wonderful roof terrace and hot tub is subtle, stylish and very comfortable. I will be returning for sure.   We stayed here for 1 night with our 2 children, aged 2 and 4 and our small dog. The hosts were fantastic. We are travelling for a year and have a lot of luggage in our car and a roof box that doesn't lock - the owner called around for us until he found a private garage nearby where we could safely park our car. It was a real oasis for us and we truly appreciate all th - Lovely homely hotel in historic end of town one road back from the Ancient Port of Genova. Sensational exposed walls in the bedrooms from the 1500's. Great combination of modern and ancient in the B&B and in town. Good restaurants literally metres from the door. B&B was quiet, peaceful, fully equipped and gratefully has a lift. Host was extremely helpful and takes pride in her home. Great experience

  Basically everything. The hotel is well decorated in an Italian style. Great location with many highstreet stores around and an McDonald's right across the street. It's very close to the bus and metro station and only about 15 minutes walk from the train station. Nice facilities. At breakfast the owner even made the tea for me alth - It is a kind of family run hotel. The staff is very friendly, they make you feel as at home. Vito give you all sort of suggestions for things to visit, what to do and where to go. I stayed in a room with private bathroom; the room was big, confortable and clean with very good wifi connection. The location is excellent, just one block form Piazza di Ferrari, near de Porto Antico and the old town. The train station (G. Brignole) is just 10 min walk where you can reach Camogli, S. Margherita Ligur

  The view of the Port from the room and the terrace is incredible. The location is just across the Port and Aquarium. The room is a good size and the bathroom is big. The bed is comfortable especially loved the beddings, so luxurious. Reno, the owner was incredibly nice. We were coming in late and he called to make sure we are Ok. He walked with us... vad folk säger » to show us where to find good restaurants and after touring Italy for 5 weeks, it was so nice to finally have somebody who speaks English Fluently. U - Reno and Diego are amazing hosts, making us feel welcome from the first minute, giving us tips and suggestions for sightseeing as well as a few very good restaurants that we got to try. The B&B is very cosy, comfortable and clean, we got upgraded to a room with a terrace and the view was really nice. The breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh fruit salad. The location could not be better, very close to all major attractions in Genova. Overall, we would recommend this place to anyone

  Highly recommend this hostel!!! The landlord lady Manuela was very helpful with how to find the location and when I asked her how to go to siena, she even searched train and bus from Genoa to Siena and sent me photos of results on her iPhone. The hostel is just at the bus 36 stop called ospedale evangelico. 30 seconds walking from the bus stop. So... vad folk säger » doesn't matter how many luggages you have and how heavy they are. The apartment is very clean and beautiful in a classical way. Food, snacks, cakes, - Hosts Chiara and Manuela were brimming with enthusiasm about their city, with suggestions of things to see and places to eat. Clean, simple room in characterful flat in quiet residential area. Generous 'help yourself' breakfast with kettle and coffeemaker in the breakfast room available through the day. Good base for exploring coastal towns such as Rapallo and Portofino.
