The manager Peter was fantastic he works hard but makes sure everyone was well looked after I hope the owners appreciate his great work and all of the staffs great work. Great location...steps from everything, but not right in the center. Off street parking. Wonderful staff, very helpful. Good breakfast. The staff were very friendly..made us feel very welcome. the room was newly decorated /fresh and clean.food in bar was excellent.

Only thing that I would change would be maybe to control the heating in the rooms myself, it seemed to come on and off for an hour or so throughout the day and night which sometimes was a bit uncomfortable. No tea-making facillities in room. Couldn't get parking. No coffee making facilities in room or available early am at the hotel. No hairdryer in room or easy access to outlets. Nothing. The noise! Very loud guests...stag parties on the weekend and a disco. The tired looking carpet and bed covers. They also have a nightclub which wasn't open while we were there but I can imagine it would intrude throughout the hotel. You can hear the noise from the nite club in your room. It didn't really bother us caus we were out anyway but if u stayed in or were sober you would not b able to sleep. Corridor to bedroom very dirty. Really poor lighting in room. Stained & torn towels, 2 requests made to reception for fresh towels. No shelf in bathroom at sink or shower. No toilet roll holder. Tiles at bottom of shower dirty. Breakfast bellow average, very poor selection, poor quality, horrible coffee, food stains on breakfast menu. Very rundown looking on outside.
