  This hotel was well located by car, but a good 45 minute walk into the centre of Ubud. While they do offer a complimentary shuttle car, I would recommend the walk if you want to meet locals, see local shops and houses and get a better feel for the place.The grounds are spacious with beautiful rice paddies surrounding the property. The staff greet you by name and I liked the fact that the manager took the time to meet me and say good bye - We loved everything. The service was amazing and you never wanted for anything. You couldn't put your finger on what exactly was the magic at this hotel, but that's the exact point. You didnt' want for anything, nor did you have to ask for anything. True Bliss.

  Komaneka at Bisma is located in an incredible setting overlooking rice paddies and the pool. The suites are large and have a great balcony. The staff are exceptional. They made us feel like family and we enjoyed them as much as the hotel! We had a one year old with us and they often watched him while we finished our meal. They also connected us with a driver /guid - Lovely setting, just a short distance from central Ubud. Beautiful rooms, with a large terrace complete with sun loungers from where you can enjoy the lovely views of palm trees and some paddy fields, and the infinity pool. Liked the touches like the bedtime reading stories which were placed bedside at the turn down service. The breakfast was a veritable feast every day with lots of choice. Make sure you sample the snacks at tea time, too. A delightful place to base yourself in Ubud.

  De Munut is one of those places you wish you could take with you... Or just visit again and again. The staff was extremely friendly, the room was spotless and very nice, the outdoor bathroom was wonderful, de pool refreshing and charming. Any question was answered on the spot, any request taken care of instantly.   The Beji Ubud Resort is set amongst the jungle landscape in Ubud. It was nice and quiet and seemed to be away from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud however it is only a 10 minute walk to the main marketplace. We had a balcony overlooking the valley jungle with an infinity pool doing the same 10m away. It was refreshing to have staff that understood all details and aspects of all our questions and requests. They will do/organise an
