  This hotel was well located by car, but a good 45 minute walk into the centre of Ubud. While they do offer a complimentary shuttle car, I would recommend the walk if you want to meet locals, see local shops and houses and get a better feel for the place.The grounds are spacious with beautiful rice paddies surrounding the property. The staff greet you by name and I liked the fact that the manager took the time to meet me and say good bye - We loved everything. The service was amazing and you never wanted for anything. You couldn't put your finger on what exactly was the magic at this hotel, but that's the exact point. You didnt' want for anything, nor did you have to ask for anything. True Bliss.

This was easily the best resort I have ever stayed in (and I have stayed at many many 5 star resorts!) and the biggest reason for that has to be the ever-smiling and hyper-efficient staff.   Komaneka at Bisma is located in an incredible setting overlooking rice paddies and the pool. The suites are large and have a great balcony. The staff are exceptional. They made us feel like family and we enjoyed them as much as the hotel! We had a one year old with us and they often watched him while we finished our meal. We felt very comforta... vad folk säger » ble having staff babysit for our one year old because he got to know everyone so well while we were there. They also connected us with a driver /guid - Lovely setting, just a short distance from central Ubud. Beautiful rooms, with a large terrace complete with sun loungers from where you can enjoy the lovely views of palm trees and some paddy fields, and the infinity pool. Liked the touches like the bedtime reading stories which were placed bedside at the turn down service. The breakfast was a veritable feast every day with lots of choice. Make sure you sample the snacks at tea time, too. A delightful place to base yourself in Ubud.

  Warwick Ibah is an amazing and magical place. Their hospitality is above an beyond! Just to say a few things: they knew us by name by the first night, they upgraded our room without us asking or charging us more, they took me to a doctor when I got sick, brought rice pourage to my room to help me feel better (free of charge), their service was sup... vad folk säger » erb! The hotel itself is setup like an ancient temple with beautiful carved statues everywhere you look. This place is completely unique and unlike an - Beautiful hotel next to the Campuhan Ridge walk which was really really nice. Do it in the evening or early morning and go to karsa cafe. We did not try the restaurant. The pool was really really nice - one of the best hotel pools we've tried. Got upgraded from Tree top to Ibah Suite which was nice - the room was definately luxurious and very very comfortable. We used shuttle which was good.
