We were at first put into accommodation known as a Lumbung these are cramped, dark and tiny with almost a ladder going from upper bedroom to the outdoor downstairs bathroom which is very steep. They are kind of a traditional Indo style place my friend and I decided this was not for us and asked to change the staff were most amenable and put us into a fab newer room one level with gorgeous outdoor bathroom. The bungalow is clean and nice. It is on the beach as all hotels on Gili island are. The shower and toilet are under the sky;) Breakfast is simple but nice.
