  Amed is a quaint beach village in Northern Bali. The Snorkeling was great and we hear the diving is as well. Santai hotel is a sweet hotel with Lovely staff and simple but beautiful facilities. You can really relax and enjoy your no pretense holiday. The cottages are very traditional in style and if you have a beach view, it's stunning! It's very kid friendly and the beach in front-- thou - The location is ideal for snorkelers!! Coral and fish are 10 feet from shore.Restaurant food is gourmet with a huge menu. Great on site entertainment.Surroundings are magical - especially during the full moon.The staff were super friendly and helpful - in fact we gave them a "Best Staff" award upon our departure. This was our favorite place to stay in Bali, so we returned for a second stay with two of our honeymooning friends.

  The rooms were spacious, clean and everything worked well. Water pressure in the shower was excellent. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Pool is the best.   You will not be dissapointed with Aquaterrace Amed. It is practically perfect in every way. From refreshing towels and welcome juice on arrival to the final goodbyes it was delightful! The food is wonderful and re - We like everything about aqua terrace, the room is brand new, minimalist and super clean, there is a beautiful view of the ocean and a nice pool, the food is great. We even went back the next day for massage and scrub, one of the best massage I ever had. The owners are really helpful, he drove me around in the morning to look for a new hotel because they were booked for the next day. Super nice and great service.

  The staff was amazingly friendly and make you feel very welcome. The houses are cute and the sight is breath taking. The bathrooms and everything is clean and the garden is very well maintained and beautiful. Apart from that the snorkeling at the Japanese Shipwreck across the road is amazing! The staff will also help you book trips to other place... vad folk säger » s and will haggle for you to get cheap drives anywhere or book your gili island trip. Also the food is really nice and cheap! - We liked the staff, they were very friendly! The diving spot next to the hotel is amazing (Japanese Shipwreck, many beautifully coloured fish) and the food is good! Love the bamboo cottages, it gives you a really authentic feel and luckily the village is not touristy at all. There are also many very romantic little spots to sit and enjoy the spectacular views (Lombok, Gili islands). The staff btw will help you book your boat trip to the gili's or lombok.

  Arrived and met Kardek ( spelling? sorry ) and was greeted very warmly. He has only been running his homestay for a month but it is already very nice. All new inside with a large bedroom which looks straight out to sea through large windows. Nice to wake up too!. Bathroom is nice, no hot water but the cold water is still pretty warm anyway. A smal... vad folk säger » l porch out front which is where your delicious pancakes get served in the morning. Kardek is a dive master and is the go to man for diving in Amed. H - We had a wonderful time at Tudes Homestay. It was clean and at a great location right by the beach. The owner Kadek is an amazing host. He made sure we had everything we needed. He provides you with snorkeling gear, which is great, because there are wonderful coral reefs just in front of the homestay. He can also take you diving, as he is a certified dive master. Anything you want, just ask Kadek! Thanks for a great time!
