  Amed Save yourself from looking amymore for a place to stay in Amed, Solaluna Beach Homestay is IT! We booked 2 nights at Solaluna Beach Homestay, in late August 2013, and wish our stay could have been longer! We found our room, bungalow, and accomodations to be quite nice. Good AC and ceiling fan and fridge available. Fantastic sunrises and sunsets with Mt. Agung at the background. Tasty breakfast served on the veranda and coffee and tea available all day long. The owner Gede and his wife are very helful and kind. They prepared fresh grilled fish several times for us. We had fun using kayaks and sunbeds just in front of the bungalow.   We stayed here from Dec.12-17th. We arrived late at night, around 8pm and was greeted by Wayan and Suri where we stayed at their brother villa Aquamarine Seaview for 1 nite, and the next day they moved us to Villa Aquamarine (which is just next door). We were welcomed by Sudi (the help; i don't like to call her a maid). Sudi is the best and help... vad folk säger » us cook almost any thing we want. We can order from their menu or we can tell her what we want to eat then she will buy the food and cook in the kit - Views off the terrace are amazing! The rooms are clean and the food was great. There's a full kitchen so its great to be able to cook on your own as well. Sudi, the house keeper cooks great Balinese dishes and makes a good breakfast. There's also a patio with sun chairs and a hammock - great place to relax with a Gin & tonic. The pool is a few meters a way and is great for a refreshing dip.   We stayed at the apartment above the shop. Surprised by it's spaciousness after we were welcomed by the helpful staff of the shop/premises, we immediately felt at home. The villa is beautiful, the rooms(all with ensuite bathroom) are incredibly clean, spacious and the decoration is lovely. The owner agreed to cook fantastic dinners for us(and breakfast as well), and her brother drove us everywhere we wanted to with efficiency And a great kindness.
