  This pension was fabulous! The facility is beautiful, impeccably clean, in a wonderful setting and with a friendly helpful staff. The restaurant was wonderful. We ate on the terrace under a trellis of grape vines. Prices are a bargain- our dinner wine and shared dessert for three 36 euros. We will come back to Hungary just to stay at this place again! Oh - The size of our 2 person suite was great and we were pleased that there was a small kitchenette in the room, this was half separated from the bedroom which is handy with little ones. We had a decent sized private outside area off our room that would have been lovely if the weather was warm enough! The hotel is situated right next to the valley which is perfect for wine tasting.

  Beautiful location in suburban hilltop part of Eger with wonderful view of the city below from balcony. Overall, good value for themoney. Comfortable and pleasant room but super-tiny bathroom. Breakfast (typical buffet for Hungarian hotels) was in the Panorama Hotel run by the owners, just down the street. (Not a problem on the sunny day we were t... vad folk säger » here but could be in rainy weather.) - The location was surprisingly close to the city centre despite being on the hill above the castle; even walking up the hill at night was fine. The view was good - though only from the upper floors; the garden was lovely. NIce breakfasts.

  The view from the Balcony was a pleasure to wake up to every day, walking distance to Barlang Furdo, although up hill on the way back..   The location and value for money was excellent! Also parking space was available next to the building. And the owner, he is really special character in the most positive way! :) - I liked this hotel. Personals are very friendly and helpfull, very clean room.Hotel based in centre of Tokaj.If I will be in Tokaj again, I will stay here .

  The rooms are amazingly clean and tidy, the nature is wonderful. Shops are close at hand so does the valley to make excursions. Unfortunetely the wifi access is limited to the garden, it does not work in the room. The stuff is kind and does everything for the perfect relax.

  We stayed at Paulay Borhaz for two days and loved every minute of our visit. Peter and Linda are excellent hosts who makes you feel at home from the first minute. They are very friendly and helpful. The modern house is a reconstruction of the ancient family house made with great love and care. The rooms are very comfortable and are designed in a v... vad folk säger » ery good taste. The cellar offers a selection of delicious wines from the family winery. We spent two lovely evenings tasting wines in a cozy yard and - This is a fabulous choice for rest. Brand new, comfortable rooms, great service, excellent selection of own beautiful handmade wines . The owners was extremely friendly. If you are wine fan, or just want to get a long trip i am warmly recommend the Paulay Borhaz. I will back.
